Range cooking since 1830
If you want to create the perfect kitchen… a
range cooker from Falcon is essential.
We’re totally committed to producing stylish
products that will stand the test of time and
‘standing the test of time’ is something we
know all about.
We created the very first range cooker in
1830 and we’ve been leading the way ever
since.
The world’s first range cooker, the Kitchener,
was produced at the site that
still remains our headquarters today
in Leamington Spa. The Kitchener was
designed and built by William Flavel who
was the son of the founding family
and it represented a truly revolutionary
breakthrough in cooking technology.
As the first cast-iron cooker that could boil,
roast, bake and warm-all from the same heat
source, its timesaving and easy-to-use
functionality was quickly embraced in all
kinds of kitchens. These included some of
the most important homes in Europe such as
the royal households of the King of Italy, the
Emperor of Germany, Queen Victoria and her
eldest son - Edward VII.
